I remember the warmth in his voice as he shared stories from home, making me feel connected to the east coast even from afar. The design also pays homage to an old tradition in Cuban cigar culture, where a torcedor—a skilled cigar roller—would craft cigars while someone read the newspaper aloud to entertain and inform them during their work. These moments, blending family connection and timeless rituals, are woven into the spirit of the shirt.
